New Church Building Project

The city of Nazareth is a vital and important hub of the area it is nestled in as its metropolitan area counts of over 225,000 people.

From one side, it is the largest and the capital Arab city of Israel, and from the other, it is the second largest city in the North of Israel where most of the Israli Arabs reside.

Since the Nazareth Church of Christ is the only congregation in Israel and in the area, it is very important to keep progressing by planning ahead. However, these plans of various activities in order to reach out to the lost, study and share the gospel with them, need sources of ongoing funding.

The Nazareth Church of Christ is currently located in an old structure built in 1964 that requires a great deal of renovation. But the Nazareth Church of Christ is blessed to have a plot of land that is yet to be used. Experts and engineers have taken a close look at what the Church has and advised that it is cheaper to build a new Church building on that plot of land, and instead of concrete it would be made of wood. Then use the old building in its current state to generate income while carrying out a processed and organized renovations to comply with today's demands in order to have a multi-use purpose structure.

The "New Church Building Project" is divided into two phases.

PHASE 1: Construction of the New Church

• Legal Registration and Preparation of Drawings for Approval
• Approval of Drawings from City Development Authority
• Sub-Structure Work
• Super Structure Work
• Masonry and Services Work
• Finishing Work and Completion

PHASE 2: Renovating Old Building Project

• Preparation of Drawings for Approval
• Substructure Work: Flooring, Sewage, Tiles, Restrooms, Electricity, Doors, Windows, etc.
• Super Structure Work and Upon Future Plans Additional Construction Work
• Finishing Work and Completion

The Nazareth Church of Christ has already started raising funds and contributions from individuals, organizations and congregations who have a huge heart of planting a strong and generations-to-come church in the Holy Land and in the city of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

The Nazareth Church of Christ will have a special area in the new building to show its deep appreciation and gratitude for all of those generous and warm-hearted people who made the new building become a reality.
